With Conflict Catcher 3, we have worked very hard to bring you the very latest in Startup File management and conflict identification.
This demo will work for three days. After three days have passed, Conflict Catcher 3 will no longer load and be available to manage your startup files. Conflict Catcher 3 requires System 7 or later.
Please read the "Demo Installation Guide" file for direction on installing Conflict Catcher 3.
Conflict Catcher 3 supports Balloon help and has its own help system. We recommend that you use both when exploring the various features. It is also a good idea to walk through the preferences and try things that sound interesting.
Here are some features you don't want to overlook:
At startup time you can direct Conflict Catcher to restart, shutdown, pause, or stop loading startup files. Here are the keys to hold down at startup time (after Conflict Catcher has loaded):
Command-R Restarts the computer
Command-S Shuts down the computer
Command-P Pauses the startup process
Command-period Stops loading startup files and proceeds directly to the Finder
